The Charles Center is William & Mary's hub for transformative undergraduate research experiences beyond the classroom and across disciplines. Our honors and scholars programs, research and journalism initiatives, and research-centered internships create opportunities for students to put their liberal arts & sciences education into practice in mentored settings. We support undergraduate research at all stages from idea to dissemination through hands-on experiences that prepare students for lives and livelihoods of purpose.
William & Mary's Charles Center invites qualified applications for the full-time position of WMSURE Program Coordinator to support the William & Mary Scholars Undergraduate Research Experience (WMSURE), which focuses on undergraduate education and support for high-achieving undergraduate students. Reporting to the WMSURE Assistant Director, and in collaboration with WMSURE Faculty Co-Directors, the Program Coordinator will assist with planning and implementing programming activities in support of this robust and expanding program. WMSURE students are academically distinguished students who are representative of diverse backgrounds, talents, and experiences, many of which are the first members of their families to attend college. WMSURE provides academic support, research opportunities, and campus and alumni connections for scholars. The program holds weekly workshops featuring faculty and staff, hosts daily office hours, and supports peer and faculty mentors.
