Location: Mercy Hospital South - 10010 Kennerly Rd St. Louis Missouri 63128
Schedule:Full-Time 36 hours/week
Shift:Night Shift 7:00PM-7:30AM

About the Unit
Med Surg 5E provides care for a wide variety of adult medical patients.
Typical diagnoses include:
Small bowel obstructions
Respiratory infections
Cellulitis
Diverticulitis
Pneumonia
This unit offers strong opportunities to develop and strengthen core clinical skills including patient assessment time management and complex care coordination. Nurses on 5E gain experience with medical patients who require frequent monitoring thoughtful care planning and multidisciplinary teamwork.

Qualifications
Education:Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with one of the following:
Licensure:Must hold and maintain a current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Missouri or possess compact licensure in accordance with state board of nursing regulations.
Experience:Previous hospital experience is preferred and may be required depending on the unit.

Physical Requirements
Ability to push pull and lift up to 50 lbs regularly
Prolonged standing and walking throughout the shift
Ability to grip reach bend kneel twist and squat as needed to perform nursing duties
