Located in the heart of Abbot Kinney, our Venice location blends a carefully curated wine program with an energetic yet relaxed atmosphere. Our guests come to discover new producers, celebrate milestones, meet friends, enjoy a late-night glass, or simply spend time in a space that feels welcoming and alive.

Our wine program focuses on thoughtful producers, sustainable farming practices, and wines that tell a story. We champion both established and emerging winemakers from around the world, with a particular emphasis on wines that reflect a sense of place and craftsmanship. We believe wine should be fun, engaging, and accessible—never intimidating.

Working closely with the Director of Operations & Assistant General Manager, and bar team, this individual will be responsible for executing and evolving our wine program while ensuring smooth day-to-day operations on the floor.

What You'll Do:

Wine Program Leadership

• Curate, maintain, and continuously develop the wine list in collaboration with company leadership.
• Manage wine inventory, ordering, receiving, and organization.
• Monitor beverage cost and inventory performance.
• Lead wine education and training programs for service teams.
• Develop and execute wine-focused events, tastings, and programming.
• Stay current on industry trends, producers, and emerging regions.

Operations & Leadership

• Serve as a floor leader during service, ensuring exceptional hospitality standards.
• Support scheduling, staffing, and daily operational execution.
• Coach, mentor, and develop front-of-house team members.
• Partner with the GM and AGM to achieve sales, labor, and service goals.
• Maintain a positive, collaborative culture that reflects the values of Only the Wild Ones.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and operational systems.

Guest Experience

• Create memorable experiences for guests through genuine hospitality and wine expertise.
• Build relationships with regulars and foster a strong sense of community within the space.
• Handle guest concerns professionally and proactively.

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years of restaurant or wine bar management experience.
• Strong wine knowledge; formal certifications are a plus but not required.
• Experience with wine ordering, inventory management, and vendor relationships.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, service-focused environment.
• Passion for hospitality, wine, culture, and community.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Compensation: Hourly + Tips & Bonus Program based on Sales
