Job Overview The Space Security Division within Lockheed Martin Space’s Mission Solutions business area is seeking a Systems Engineer-IT to join an Agile team focused on IT Infrastructure (Systems Administration, Networking & Hardware) in the Whiskey Program Area. Responsibilities Access growth opportunities and contribute to an important mission. Join an Agile (scrum) Systems Administration team. Provide Windows/Linux system administration. Automate server administration and deployment using scripts. Complete system patching. Support user interactions. Design new capabilities. Maintain networks and data storage to ensure maximum uptime for development and operations. Demonstrate a strong work ethic, communication, creativity, and problem‑solving skills. Qualifications (Level3) Minimum 3 years of professional experience. Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience. U.S. citizenship; requires government security clearance, TS/SCI; access to classified facilities. Basic Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in an accredited science or technology program. Advanced Linux system‑administration experience. Strong automation experience (Ansible / PowerShell). Hypervisor/virtualization experience, preferably OpenShift / OpenStack. System hardening, cybersecurity concepts and tools. Active Top Secret with SCI clearance. Eligible for security investigation and classified information access. Desired Skills Windows system‑administration experience. Active Directory. Windows patching, deployments, backups, monitoring. PowerShell / Ansible automation scripting. ACAS, Nessus, Trelix scanning systems. VMware, AWS, OpenStack/OpenShift, KVM. Containers. Network engineering. Linux system‑administration. Agile/Kanban process, technical leadership. Security+ or CISSP certification. Security Clearance Requires government security clearance, TS/SCI. All applicants must be U.S. citizens. Job Details Experience Level: Experienced Professional.
