PGL, a subsidiary of WEC Energy Group, is seeking an Associate Engineer – Field Operations in our Chicago, Illinois (4025 W Peterson Ave) location. This position requires in office presence of 4 days a week. Job Summary Operation and maintenance of existing gas mains and services Installation process of new facilities and retirement of existing ones Understanding customer gas supply needs including meter and regulator requirements Response and support in emergency situations Coordinate with design engineers, project managers, and construction project managers to understand the lifecycle of a project including as‑built documentation Exposure to design, project management, gas operations, and customer service software Technical responsibility for planning, developing, interpreting, organizing, coordinating, and executing a variety of complex engineering and project management projects Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Must meet company standards for driving and maintain a valid driver’s license Preferred Qualifications Excellent communication skills, both oral and written Strong analytical capabilities Project/process management experience End Date: 07/28/2026 Pay Range Minimum: $68,436.68 Pay Range Maximum: $118,053.26 The pay range reflects the minimum and maximum for the position at the time of posting and may be modified in the future. The starting salary/pay within the pay range will be based on several factors, as applicable, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, shift, travel requirements, collective bargaining agreements, and business and organizational needs.
