Our mission is to help manufacturers maintain a competitive advantage in the world economy by improving productivity.

Summary of Responsibility:

The Sales Operations Coordinator is an office-based role responsible for providing critical operational, technical, and administrative support to the Outside Sales team. This position plays a key role in ensuring sales processes run smoothly, customer expectations are met, and internal coordination across Sales, Marketing, Contracts, and Project Management is effective. A primary focus of the role includes ownership and support of the CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) system and maintaining accurate customer and sales data within Salesforce.

What You Will Contribute:

  • Provide comprehensive support to the Outside Sales team to help meet and exceed company sales goals.
  • Serve as a key internal point of contact to ensure excellent customer experience for all stakeholders.
  • Partner closely with the Marketing team on sales-related initiatives, campaigns, and materials.
  • Act as the primary owner of the CPQ (Configure, Price & Quote) system, including maintaining accurate customer and deal information in Salesforce.
  • Collaborate with Contracts and Project Management teams to ensure customer machine details, statements of work (SOWs), and shipment schedules are accurate and completed on time.
  • Support customers with technical inquiries by identifying, coordinating with, and following up with the appropriate internal resources.
  • Create machine tool layouts, including sizes, specifications, and weights, to support sales and project planning efforts.
  • Work with key stakeholders to ensure Statements of Work (SOWs) are properly created, communicated, and adhered to.
  • Coordinate scheduling and logistics related to hosting customers, including visits, demonstrations, and meetings.
  • Prepare deal sheets, pricing documentation, and product line pricing support as needed.
  • Demonstrate strong, proactive, and effective communication with both internal teams and external customers.
  • Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail across all responsibilities.
  • Occasional travel may be required.

Other Functions:

  • Perform related duties as required.

The duties listed above are intended only as illustration of the various types of work that may be performed. The omission of specific statements of duties does not exclude them from the position if the work is similar or a logical assignment to the position.

Qualifications and Competencies:

  • College degree preferred.
  • Prior experience in a sales support, sales operations, or technical support role is strongly preferred.
  • Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM systems required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Outlook and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with CPQ systems strongly preferred.
  • SolidWorks experience is a plus.
  • Ability to quickly learn and become fully versed in key operating systems and internal tools.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy in all aspects of work.
  • Proficient math and analytical skills to support pricing and deal development.
  • Demonstrated technical aptitude and willingness to learn complex systems and product details.

What's in it for You:

We take great pride in our employees and offer a variety of benefits that allow our employees to be successful inside and outside of work:
