Minimum Qualifications

Five years of economic stability social services experience; OR Six years of full-time work experience in any field plus two years of economic stability social services experience; OR A bachelor's degree plus two years of economic stability social services experience; OR An advanced degree in a social sciences field, business, public, or health administration plus one year of economic stability social services experience. EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION: Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as one year of experience towards the six years of full-time work experience in any field. The maximum substitution allowed is 120 semester hours which substitutes for a maximum of four years of experience in any field.

Job Duties and Other Information

Job Duties:

• Deliver professional, high-quality instructor-led and web-based training on ES-specific and department-wide curricula to staff and stakeholders statewide
• Facilitate engaging learning experiences using adult learning principles and technology tools, ensuring effective knowledge transfer and training evaluation
• Maintain strict adherence to standardized training curricula while tracking, reporting, and evaluating training outcomes
• Develop, update, and revise training materials and courses to reflect current policies, procedures, and program requirements
• Coordinate and conduct statewide training sessions, workshops, and conferences, including all logistical preparation and communication with stakeholders
• Lead and support train-the-trainer initiatives by coaching new trainers, providing feedback, and contributing to curriculum design and improvement
• Assess training needs, conduct evaluations and surveys, and provide recommendations and technical assistance to enhance staff development and program performance

Compensation: This position is eligible for the following Special Entrance Rates (SER):

Economic Stability Specialist - $22.76 hr / $1,820.80 bi-weekly,

as well as a Premium Pay of up to $2.00/hr for hours worked based on longevity.
