2027 Spring Co-op Opportunities, Cambridge, MA – Ready to grow your skills while helping shape the future of healthcare? This co‑op opportunity will have a 6‑month duration starting January2027. Available Disciplines In‑vitro Biology: Conduct experiments that reveal how potential medicines interact with human cells, taking the first crucial steps toward new treatments. Medicinal Chemistry: Design and create entirely new molecules that could become tomorrow’s blockbuster medicines, combining creativity with cutting‑edge science. Process Chemistry: Optimize synthetic routes and develop scalable manufacturing processes for drug substances, applying green chemistry principles to deliver safe, efficient medicines at global scale. Bioanalytics: Use state‑of‑the‑art technology to measure and understand how medicines work in the human body, directly contributing to safer and more effective treatments. Bioinformatics: Decode genomic data to understand disease mechanisms and identify new therapeutic targets, contributing to the era of precision medicine. Machine Learning/AI: Build intelligent systems that could predict which drug candidates will succeed, revolutionizing how medicines are discovered and developed. Drug Product Development: Shape the final form of medicines that patients receive, ensuring every pill, injection, or treatment delivers hope and healing with precision and safety. Immunology (Analytical): Measure the body’s immune responses to develop vaccines and immunotherapies that could prevent the next pandemic or cure autoimmune diseases. Characterization: Become a molecular detective, unlocking the secrets of biological medicines to ensure every dose meets the highest standards of quality and efficacy. Neuroscience Research: Tackle some of humanity’s most challenging diseases affecting the brain and nervous system, from Alzheimer’s to rare neurological disorders. Public Affairs & Patient Advocacy: Bridge science, policy, and patient communities by engaging with advocacy organizations, monitoring policy trends, and advancing patient access to innovative treatments. Laboratory Automation: Implement robotic systems that accelerate scientific research and make high‑throughput analysis possible. Material Sciences: Investigate and solve complex material challenges that could impact medicine quality and patient safety. Market Access: Navigate complex healthcare systems to ensure patients can afford and access the medicines they need, removing barriers to treatment. About You Basic Qualifications – Currently enrolled at an accredited college or university pursuing a degree in: Bachelor’s: Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Cellular Biology, Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Immunology, Biotechnology, Neuroscience, Neurodegeneration, Regenerative Medicine, Neuroimmunology, Biophysics, Biomedical Sciences, General Biology. Master’s: Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Neuroscience, Biomedical Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, Biology, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Material Science, Immunology, Biotechnology, Biophysics, Materials Engineering, Science Engineering, Bioengineering, Bioinformatics, Data Science, Computational Biology, Pharmacy, Business, Health Economics, Public Health, Policy/Government Affairs, Marketing or related fields. PhD: Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Bioanalytical Chemistry, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Mass Spectrometry, Neuroscience, Immunology, Biology, Biomedical Sciences, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Computer Science, Bioengineering, Bioinformatics, Data Science, Computational Biology, Material Science, Pharmacy (PharmD) or related fields. Eligibility Requirements: Must be permanently authorized to work in the U.S. and not require sponsorship of an employment visa (e.g., H‑1B or green card) at the time of application or in the future. Students currently on CPT, OPT, or STEM OPT usually require future sponsorship for long‑term employment and do not meet the Internal requirements for this program unless eligible for an alternative long‑term status that does not require company sponsorship. Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university throughout the duration of the co‑op/internship. Must be able to relocate to the office location and work 40hrs/week, Monday to Friday for the full duration of the co‑op/internship. Compensation The salary range for this position is $27–60 hourly. Final compensation will be determined based on demonstrated experience, skills, location, and other relevant factors.
