Position Summary

The Informatica IDMC Architect / Project Manager will lead the design, implementation, migration, and modernization of enterprise data platforms using Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC). This role combines technical architecture leadership with program and project management responsibilities to deliver large-scale cloud data transformation initiatives.

The candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, enterprise architects, data governance teams, and delivery teams to define target-state architectures, manage project execution, mitigate risks, and ensure successful program outcomes.

Experience

• 12 18+ years in Data Management, Integration, Data Governance, MDM, Data Quality, and Enterprise Data Transformation Programs.

Key responsibilities

Architecture & Technical Leadership

• Define enterprise-wide IDMC architecture and implementation strategy.
• Design scalable cloud-native solutions leveraging:
  • Cloud Data Integration (CDI)
  • Cloud Application Integration (CAI)
  • Cloud Data Quality (CDQ)
  • Master Data Management SaaS (Customer 360, Supplier 360, Product 360)
  • API and Event-driven Integration Patterns
• Design data models, integration architectures, APIs, and orchestration frameworks.
• Define migration strategies for:
  • Informatica PowerCenter IDMC
  • IICS IDMC
  • On-Prem Informatica MDM MDM SaaS
• Guide Secure Agent architecture, networking, security, and environment strategies.
• Ensure adherence to enterprise architecture standards, scalability, performance, and security requirements.

Project & Program Management

• Lead end-to-end project planning and execution.
• Develop project plans, schedules, milestones, resource plans, and delivery roadmaps.
• Manage project scope, budget, timelines, risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Establish governance structures including:
  • Steering Committees
  • Weekly Status Reviews
  • RAID Management
  • Change Control Boards
• Provide executive-level status reporting and stakeholder communications.
• Coordinate global onsite and offshore delivery teams.
• Drive Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or Hybrid delivery methodologies.

Data Migration & Modernization

• Lead assessment and migration readiness activities.
• Define migration approaches for:
  • Data models
  • Match/Merge Rules
  • Trust & Survivorship Rules
  • Workflow/BPM Components
  • APIs
  • Data Quality Assets
• Develop reconciliation, validation, and data quality frameworks.
• Manage cutover planning and go-live activities.

Stakeholder Management

• Collaborate with Business Sponsors, PMOs, Data Governance Leaders, and IT Leadership.
• Conduct architecture reviews and workshops.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Present solution roadmaps and recommendations to executive stakeholders.

Delivery Governance

• Establish quality gates and project controls.
• Drive issue resolution and risk mitigation plans.
• Ensure adherence to SLA, compliance, and security requirements.
• Lead UAT, SIT, performance testing, and production readiness reviews.
