Overview Requisition: 202600250ST Title: Student Employee-Visitor Services-SAMbassador Employee Class: Student Employee College Work Study Position: No Department: Visitor Services Division: Division of Enrollment Hours per week: 15-27 Hiring Rate: $9.00 an hour Preferred Student Classification: Preferably no seniors Nature & Purpose of Position: SAMbassador: Customer Service – High Energy – Adaptable – Hard Working – Initiative. Work in Visitor Services with prospective students/families and university visitors. SAMbassadors will also provide assistance by answering university switchboard phones, giving campus tours, greeting campus visitors, assisting with guest parking, answering questions, and providing general campus information. SAMbassadors are required to work a weekly minimum of 15 hours. Will also perform general office duties and data entry. Other Requirements for the Position PLEASE PAY SPECIAL ATTENTION TO THE SCHEDULE REQUIREMENTS: Requirements for Fall 2026: two days from 10:00am–12:00pm required; one day from 1:00pm–3:00pm required; Wednesdays from 3:00pm–5:00pm mandatory staff huddle/training.
