The salary range for this position is $21.91- $37.25.Howmet Fastening Systems (HFS) is seeking a Machining Tech IV, 1st Shift at our aerospace manufacturing facility in the Fullerton, CA. Essential Duties and Responsibilities * Assembles and adjusts die set by selecting proper tooling and tests to assure proper clearance. * Sets up according to work order and layouts to insure proper form configuration. * Uses precision measuring instruments and reads blueprints to check parts for conformance to specifications. * Operates machines to ensure proper functioning and releases to and instructs operators in procedures for producing parts in conformance with specifications. * Performs other related tasks in departments to which assigned such as: Assembling, drilling, deburring, sorting, counting, etching, stamping, recording of parts processed and housekeeping * Reads blueprints and has knowledge to use micrometers, calipers, comparators, thread gauges, depth micrometers and dial indicators as needed. * S.P.C. charting as required * Assist factory supervision and leaders in the training of machine operators. * Parts to be lifted and/or transported may weigh up to 30 lbs. * Keeps work area clean, safe and in an orderly fashion on a daily basis. * Performs other tasks of equal or lesser skill as required.
