Seeking a part-time, fully remote New Jersey Licensed Staff Dentist, this position involves reviewing dental claims, prior authorizations, and treatment requests, while supporting Utilization Management programs in a collaborative managed care environment with a consistent 20-hour work week. Key responsibilities Review dental claims, referrals, and prior authorization requests across multiple lines of business Participate in calibration sessions and quality improvement initiatives to ensure clinical decision-making consistency Conduct peer-to-peer consultations with providers regarding clinical determinations and treatment alternatives Required qualifications DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school Current, active, and unrestricted New Jersey dental license in good standing Minimum of six (6) years of experience as a practicing dentist Strong knowledge of dental procedures, clinical guidelines, and coding standards Ability to review and interpret dental radiographs and treatment plans
