The salary for this position is $61,174.73 to $79,175.95 annually, based on experience Essential Functions Monitors timeliness, accuracy and follow-up of referral specialist Ensures quality and timeliness in written and verbal communication with clients and community partners Responsible for performance management, recruitment, onboarding, and team development, including but not limited to implementing progressive discipline when necessary Provides routine support and assistance to employees through individual and group conferences, assistance in analyzing problems, and in improving their support and helping skills Leads agency-wide collaboration and innovation to support desired outcomes Responsible for implementation and oversight of organizational policies, procedures, and/or processes Participates in outreach activities such as follow-up or reminder calls as necessary Maintain compliance with HIPAA, mandated reporting requirements, and professional ethical guidelines Utilizes databases and Electronic Health Record systems for accurate client documentation Travel within designated service areas as needed All other duties as assigned Education & Licensure A high school degree or GED equivalent is required A bachelor's degree in social work or clinical counseling is required A master's degree in social work or clinical counseling is required An active licensed independent social worker (LISW) or licensed professional clinical counselor (LPCC) in the state of Ohio is required Experience 3 years of experience working in the healthcare, behavioral health or a related field is required 3 years of experience working in a medical referral position and/or nonprofit administrative management environment is preferred Prior supervisory experience preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Advanced communication skills, both oral and written is required Ability to use appropriate databases, spreadsheets, and other software is required Ability to operate in an Internet-based, automated office environment is requiredAdvanced organizational skills are required Ability to bill Medicaid without restrictions is required Access to reliable transportation is required A valid driver's license and the ability to operate a motor vehicle is required An appropriate level of auto insurance coverage is required Ability to manage deadlines within a fast-paced, high-volume environment is required Physical Requirements Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
