Key Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse - Home Health
  • Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing support for well, chronic, or acutely ill individuals
  • Coordinating communications and actions of various disciplines related to health and safety supports
  • Ordering, reviewing, monitoring, and managing medications as prescribed
  • Ensuring comprehensive health documentation and reporting when conditions change
  • Supervising and training staff on health maintenance and disease prevention needs

Requirements of the Registered Nurse - Home Health
  • Valid AL or compact nursing license
  • Proficiency with HCHB, OASIS, PointCare systems
  • Experience in home health care and case management
