Ensuring the fulfillment of moderately complex purchase orders, the full-time California Procurement Buyer IV will manage requisitions, negotiate pricing, and monitor vendor performance while working remotely. Key responsibilities: Facilitates the fulfillment or recall of requested items by reviewing requisitions and placing purchase orders Negotiates pricing terms and conditions with vendors and manages operational vendor performance Communicates market insights and compliance with purchasing regulations to internal and external stakeholders Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Health Care Administration, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field Minimum three (3) years of experience in purchasing, inventory management, or procurement, or six (6) years in a directly related field At least one (1) year of experience in a leadership role Experience managing vendor contracts and relationships is preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and negotiation skills
