Job description
To support a paid study on parametric design practices, the remote contract CAD Engineer for Parametric Modeling will create complex CAD models from scratch, execute structural modifications, and maintain a clean feature tree using SolidWorks. Key responsibilities Create complex parametric CAD models based on realistic engineering scenarios Design and execute structural modification tasks on initial geometry Maintain a logical feature tree that preserves full design history Required qualifications Professional experience in mechanical engineering or industrial design Strong proficiency with 3D parametric modeling software (SolidWorks, NX, Fusion 360) Ability to produce native, fully editable SolidWorks assemblies Experience generating clean, native SolidWorks files with intact design history
