Job description
To support at-risk youth, the full-time Licensed Therapist in West Virginia will conduct mental health assessments, provide individual and group therapy sessions, and develop individualized treatment plans, utilizing a hybrid work structure that includes both in-person and virtual therapy sessions. Key responsibilities Conduct initial mental health assessments and document therapy sessions according to best practices Develop individualized treatment plans based on client needs and utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques Maintain electronic records to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and participate as a member of the child and family team Required qualifications A Master's degree in psychology, social work, or counseling At least 1 year of experience in child welfare services A valid professional Master's level, provisional or full license in social work, therapy, or counseling Understanding of cultural dynamics and their impact on human behavior Ability to foster respectful partnerships with clients and their families
