Senior Staff Accountant

What You’ll Be Doing You’ll play a key role in managing the day-to-day accounting operations for multiple entities while partnering closely with leadership to improve financial processes and reporting. Responsibilities include: Own full-cycle General Ledger accounting for multiple operating, investment, and real estate entities Prepare monthly financial statements and support month-end close Perform account reconciliations, journal entries, and balance sheet analysis Manage cash reconciliations, fixed assets, depreciation, and amortization schedules Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting Assist with tax preparation and supporting documentation Review financial reporting from third-party partners Identify opportunities to improve processes, strengthen controls, and increase efficiency Utilize AI tools and automation to streamline recurring accounting tasks Collaborate with the Controller, CFO, and cross-functional business partners on strategic initiatives What We’re Looking For Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting 3+ years of General Ledger accounting experience Strong understanding of month-end close and financial reporting Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail Strong organizational and communication skills Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively Preferred Qualifications CPA or actively pursuing CPA certification Family Office, multi-entity, or real estate accounting experience Tax preparation experience (Partnerships and S-Corporations preferred) Sage ERP or similar accounting system experience Experience using AI tools such as Claude, Microsoft Copilot, or ChatGPT Passion for process improvement and automation What Makes You Successful Curious and eager to learn Positive, dependable, and accountable A strong team player who enjoys collaboration Comfortable embracing change and new technologies Passionate about finding smarter, more efficient ways to work Focused on delivering accurate, high-quality results Why Join Us?
