Job description
Managing the entire process of liability claims, the full-time remote Liability Claims Manager will conduct investigations, assess liability, negotiate settlements, and ensure compliance with legal requirements while collaborating with various stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: Conduct thorough investigations into liability claims, gathering evidence and analyzing documentation Evaluate claim merits and collaborate with legal counsel to develop resolution strategies Negotiate settlements with claimants and insurance adjusters in accordance with company policies Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Risk Management, Insurance, Legal Studies, or related field; advanced degree or professional certification preferred Several years of experience in liability claims management or a related field, preferably in a corporate or insurance environment Strong knowledge of liability law, insurance principles, and claims handling practices Excellent analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills Proficiency in relevant software applications, including claims management systems and Microsoft Office Suite
