In Covington, LA and Tangi, LA, you’ll begin by reviewing the day’s production plan, selecting the correct program, and preparing the CNC workstation for a smooth run. You’ll load tools, set offsets, and perform first-article checks. As parts run, you’ll keep a close eye on quality, make precise adjustments, and troubleshoot alarms or variances so production stays on track. Throughout the shift, you’ll use shop math to verify dimensions, interpret blueprints and technical drawings, and collaborate with teammates to fine-tune processes. Before wrap-up, you’ll complete basic preventive maintenance and ensure the machine is ready for the next job.
