Senior Data Scientist - AML Analytics

Driving the design and development of advanced analytics and machine learning solutions, the full-time Senior Data Scientist - AML Analytics will focus on enhancing risk detection and compliance for financial crime initiatives while collaborating with various teams. Key responsibilities Design, develop, and validate machine learning models for AML transaction monitoring and fraud detection Apply advanced statistical methods and predictive analytics to identify financial crime risks and improve detection effectiveness Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into data-driven solutions and present findings to senior leadership Required qualifications Master's degree (or higher) in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline Proven experience in developing machine learning models within AML, Financial Crime, or Regulatory Compliance environments Hands-on experience with Anti-Money Laundering (AML), KYC/CDD, sanctions screening, and fraud detection Strong expertise in machine learning, predictive modeling, and statistical analysis Experience working with large-scale structured and unstructured datasets
