Job Title: Interventional Radiology Technician Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Interventional Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum of 18 months in specialty; 2 years preferred License: State license required Certifications: ARRT, AHA ACLS, BLS Must-Have: RCIS preferred Description: The position is for an Interventional Radiology Technician. Candidates must have a minimum of 18 months of experience in the specialty. Two years of experience is preferred. Additional experience in Cath/EP is sought as candidates may be floated. First-time applicants are accepted. Weekend requirements can be discussed with the manager. National certifications required include ARRT and a state license. AHA ACLS and BLS certifications are also required. RCIS certification is preferred in addition to the required certifications. On-call duty is required. The clinician may float within scope to meet facility needs. Floating may be necessary between multiple facilities within a specified distance. The facility is a short-term acute care provider with teaching capabilities. The total number of staffed beds is 521. Scrub color is ceil blue. Charting is done via a specified electronic system. The facility adheres to COVID-19 vaccination requirements with allowances for medical or religious exemptions. Flu vaccination is also required with similar exemptions. Two references from direct supervisors or managers are necessary. Travelers are required to complete specific study materials and modules prior to starting. The facility maintains a strict no-call-in policy and is smoke-free.
