The manager guides, coaches, and inspires the team to deliver the Sunglass Hut Experience, driving sales and building brand equity. General Function The Store Manager is a responsible leader who performs all store functions, serves as a role model, and creates an environment where every associate delivers exceptional customer service. By coaching and mentoring, the manager inspires a performance culture that accelerates career growth. Major Duties And Responsibilities Utilizes The Sunglass Hut Experience tools to consistently deliver sales plans and company objectives. Develops the store’s strategic plan to achieve financial results. Drives sales by identifying opportunities to achieve personal and store goals. Leads by example, coaching, developing, mentoring, and inspiring the team to enhance store performance. Applies a people‑first philosophy to grow careers, encourage teamwork, and retain talent in a development‑focused environment. Networks, recruits, hires, and trains staff using onboarding tools provided as part of The Sunglass Hut Experience. Creates emotional connections within the store team that translate into sales. Spends an average of 95% of time present on the sales floor. Continually coaches and develops the team to ensure consistent and absolute execution of The Sunglass Hut Experience. Builds customer relationships through interaction and feedback. Acts as an ambassador for the Sunglass Hut brand and consistently executes brand standards. Stays abreast of product knowledge, new merchandise, and fashion trends. Ensures impeccable execution of operational policies and procedures while maintaining brand standards. Communicates information regarding promotions, contests, and incentives to the team. Basic Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. 2+ years of leadership experience. Demonstrated expertise in every aspect of store operations. Detail‑oriented and proficient in critical thinking to ensure operational excellence. Preferred Qualifications Customer service and/or retail experience. Compensation and Benefits Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, and local minimum wage requirements.
