• ETL Developer Job Summary We are seeking a skilled ETL Developer to design, develop, test, and maintain Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) processes that support enterprise data integration and reporting.
• The ideal candidate will have experience working with data warehouses, relational databases, ETL tools, and SQL, with a strong understanding of data quality and performance optimization.
• Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain ETL workflows to extract data from multiple source systems.
• Develop data transformation logic to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity.
• Load transformed data into data warehouses, data lakes, or operational databases.
• Create and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects.
• Monitor ETL jobs, troubleshoot failures, and resolve performance issues.
• Collaborate with business analysts, data engineers, and application teams to gather data requirements.
• Perform data validation, reconciliation, and quality checks.
• Maintain technical documentation for ETL processes and data mappings.
• Implement error handling, logging, and recovery mechanisms.
• Support production deployments and ongoing maintenance activities.
• Optimize ETL processes for scalability and performance.
• Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in ETL development.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
• Experience with ETL tools such as Informatica PowerCenter, SSIS, Talend, IBM DataStage, or Pentaho.
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, and star/snowflake schemas.
• Experience with data integration, data migration, and data validation.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Preferred Qualifications Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of Python, Shell scripting, or PowerShell.
• Experience with Big Data technologies such as Spark or Hadoop.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Understanding of data governance and security best practices.
