Originating and processing mortgage loans for leads generated by Marine Credit Union, the full-time Inside Mortgage Specialist will ensure exceptional customer service while working remotely in Wisconsin. Key responsibilities Partner with Marine Credit Union to originate mortgage loans eligible for sale in the Secondary Market Contact members promptly upon receiving mortgage leads to determine eligibility for available mortgage programs Process and submit loan documentation for approval while providing updates to referring partners on loan status Required qualifications Wisconsin Licensed Mortgage Specialist Master knowledge of conventional fixed mortgage underwriting guidelines Experience with automated underwriting systems such as DU/DO Strong understanding of RESPA and TILA regulations Above average computer skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
