To support the analytical needs of the Department of Health and Human Services, the full-time Health Policy Data Scientist will lead the analysis and modeling of healthcare data using advanced analytics and machine learning, develop interactive reporting tools, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a remote work environment. Key responsibilities Lead the analysis and modeling of healthcare data using machine learning and statistical techniques Develop, test, validate, and deploy machine learning models aligned with strategic objectives Analyze healthcare and compliance data to create and maintain interactive reporting templates and dashboards Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field 5+ years of experience developing automated processes using Python, DAX, Power Query, or similar programming languages Applied experience with data modeling, including machine learning techniques such as regression and classification Experience designing and deploying data science and statistical models in fast-paced environments Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
