A Working Leader in Our Kitchen As a Dining Services Supervisor, you will assist the Director of Dining Services with the daily operation of the department. You will help coordinate the team, maintain an organized kitchen, reinforce food-safety and sanitation practices, and ensure established recipes, procedures, and regulatory requirements are consistently followed. As a Cook, you will prepare appealing, nourishing meals from established recipes and rotating menus. Responsibilities What You’ll Do Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes, menus, production needs, and resident dietary requirements Help oversee daily kitchen and dining-service operations in the Director’s absence or as assigned Provide direction and support to dietary team members throughout the shift Coordinate meal preparation and service to promote quality, accuracy, and timely delivery Reinforce food-safety, sanitation, infection-control, and workplace-safety procedures Monitor kitchen organization, food quality, portioning, presentation, and cleanliness Help ensure department procedures and applicable regulatory standards are followed Respond to changing operational needs and help the team remain focused during busy meal periods Lead by example through reliability, professionalism, teamwork, and attention to detail Qualifications What You’ll Do - In this blended role, you’ll combine hands-on meal preparation with frontline leadership to help deliver a safe, consistent, and enjoyable dining experience for our residents.
