Supporting an industry leader in financial services, the Oracle SQL/PLSQL Software Engineer will engage in a long-term contract remote role focused on contributing to the code base, leading software design and implementation, and enhancing engineering practices. Key responsibilities: Lead the design and implementation of software solutions aligned with the program's strategic direction Contribute to enhancing engineering practices, particularly in ATDD and CI/CD Engage in product quality efforts, including test case development and regression testing automation Required qualifications: 6+ years of experience with SQL, Oracle PL/SQL, performance tuning, and ETL/batch processes Expertise in writing Oracle SQL and PL/SQL code and performing data analysis and modeling Experience with acceptance test-driven development (ATDD) and automated testing for database code Knowledge of mid-tier technologies such as Java and messaging technologies Familiarity with CI/CD processes and tools, with a passion for delivering high-quality software
