Seeking a Freelance Lead Packaging Designer on a contract basis, this remote role will manage the creative execution of packaging design projects for consumer packaged goods, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to develop impactful, consumer-centric packaging that aligns with brand strategy and business objectives. Key responsibilities: Support and guide the creative execution of packaging design projects, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and consumer insights Conceptualize and develop packaging design solutions for new product launches and promotional initiatives Prepare and review production-ready packaging artwork while ensuring compliance with brand standards and regulatory requirements Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree in graphic design or a related field 5-7 years of professional packaging design experience in a fast-paced CPG, agency, or studio environment Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, with knowledge of Adobe AI tools preferred Strong portfolio showcasing packaging design and consumer-centered design solutions Professional-level understanding of visual category norms for nutrition, health, and food packaging
