Owning the full payroll processing cycle, the full-time California Licensed Paymaster will manage client payroll, ensuring compliance with regulations while providing training and support to team members in a remote environment. Key responsibilities Review and calculate client timecards for compliance with federal, state, and union laws Compile payroll reports and manage payroll releases, including check distribution and accounting imports Provide training and day-to-day support to Payroll Administrators and Coordinators within the team Required qualifications 3+ years of experience in payroll or production accounting 2+ years of experience with entertainment union contracts Experience in the film and TV industry is a plus Ability to manage high-volume work with competing priorities under pressure Highly organized and accurate, with acute attention to detail
