Mortgage Center Investor Accountant Southfield, MI (Remote) Do you welcome challenges and finding solutions to unique situations? In the Investor Accountant role, you will be responsible for reconciling GSE Custodial P&I and T&I accounts, preparing reconciliations of general ledger and bank accounts, researching and resolving exceptions, ensuring compliance with investor reporting and accounting practices, and facilitating audit requests. Responsibilities Reconciling GSE Custodial P&I and T&I accounts; preparing reconciliations of general ledger and bank accounts, including balancing, research, and timely resolution of reconciling items. Researching, resolving, and clearing GSE exceptions, including all hard and soft reject findings to resolution. Monitoring compliance with investor reporting and accounting, as well as generally accepted accounting principles and company procedures. Facilitating audit requests by gathering, validating, and providing documentation for GSE and other Investor Internal and External audits as needed. Monitoring P&I Custodial accounts to ensure accurate processing of monthly advances, recoupments, and Investor remittance; reporting payoffs, loan modifications, and corrections to GSEs accurately and timely. Qualifications At least three (3) years of experience in investor accounting. Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent experience. Strong organizational skills to work effectively in a fast‑paced, highly regulated, deadline‑driven environment. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel (including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs). #J-18808-Ljbffr
