Job description
To support patient access needs, the full-time Bilingual Remote Medical Scheduler will manage appointment scheduling, address patient inquiries, and ensure accurate communication with clinical staff while working remotely. Key responsibilities Completes patient appointment scheduling across multiple clinics and manages inbound communications from patients and clinicians Assesses caller needs, identifies urgent matters for immediate transfer, and documents non-urgent requests for appropriate staff follow-up Verifies patient demographics and insurance information, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and maintaining patient confidentiality Required qualifications H.S. Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Administration or related field preferred 1-3 years of experience in scheduling, operations, or healthcare administration required 1-3 years of experience in physician/provider scheduling or call center operations Proficiency in scheduling software, EMR systems, and Microsoft Office Suite Knowledge of healthcare industry standards and patient confidentiality protocols
