Financial Analyst - Transformation - Hybrid
This is a hybrid position based at our beautiful corporate office located in Brentwood, TN, with on-site work required Monday through Wednesday.
Create and model pro forma business cases for transformation projects.
Track spending and savings associated with transformation projects.
Develop financial models and analytical tools to support transformation initiatives.
Prepare analyses supporting transformation projects, with an emphasis on providing decision support to leadership to optimize short- and long-term business and financial performance.
Support Transformation team inputs for the Surgery Partners financial forecasting and budgeting process.
Perform ad hoc data analyses in support of transformation initiatives as directed by the VP of Transformation.
Collaborate across various company functions, including Operations, Development, Corporate Finance, Accounting, Treasury, and others, to align on project performance, project design, monthly results, and identified risks and opportunities.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years related experience of relevant accounting or finance experience. Experience in financial analysis and financial modeling. Healthcare/Hospital experience preferred. Experience in developing financial systems and procedures. Proficiency in Monte Carlo and/or related variable input analysis desirable. Experience in a multi-location environment. Experience in partnership accounting desirable.
License(s)/Certification(s): Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) desirable.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Extensive knowledge of financial/accounting principles and procedures. Excellent analytical skills required; advanced Excel skills. Exceptional financial competence, strong business acumen, robust organizational skills. Knowledge of financial analysis tools and techniques, and exceptional communication abilities. Ability to balance the demands of a rapidly growing, complex environment.
