Job description
Leading the formation and operational build-out of Affirm Bank, the full-time remote CPA Licensed Bank Controller will manage the accounting team, oversee financial reporting, and ensure regulatory compliance while collaborating with cross-functional teams. Key responsibilities Build and lead the Bank accounting team, providing strategic direction and talent development Serve as a primary liaison with cross-functional teams to ensure effective service delivery and independent oversight Oversee all monthly financial reporting to internal and external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies Required qualifications Accounting designation such as CPA or CA Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in Accounting, Finance, or Treasury-related areas Minimum 5 years of people management experience Experience building out tools and processes for scaling an Accounting team in a similar industry Extensive knowledge of GAAP and regulatory reporting requirements
