Job description
Leading a team of Engineering Managers, the full-time Director of Digital Commerce Engineering will develop high-performing engineering teams and drive the long-term strategy for digital platforms, ensuring exceptional patient experiences, while working in a hybrid environment based in Asheville, NC. Key responsibilities Develop and coach Engineering Managers, fostering a culture of ownership and continuous improvement Define and execute the engineering strategy for the Digital Commerce Platform, enhancing scalability and platform consistency Build trusted partnerships across various departments to align engineering investments with customer needs and business priorities Required qualifications Proven experience in leading engineering teams and developing engineering leaders Strong background in digital product engineering and platform strategy Experience with architectural consistency and cloud-native principles Ability to communicate technical tradeoffs and align cross-functional initiatives Commitment to continuous improvement in engineering processes and practices
