Providing advanced customer support expertise, the full-time HPC Advanced Customer Support Specialist will ensure DoD scientists have reliable access to supercomputing resources, performing all work remotely while managing software installations, user support, and collaboration with technical teams. Key responsibilities Install and verify user-requested software applications and manage associated build environments Assist users in compiling, debugging, and running custom-developed codes across various systems Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and workflows for ticket management among support tiers Required qualifications BS with 12+ years or Master's with 10+ years of relevant experience; additional experience may substitute for degree Must hold an active in-scope Secret clearance prior to start (U.S. Citizenship required) Experience with HPC resource managers such as Slurm or PBS Pro Application installation or optimization experience on HPC systems Effective communication skills with users and office staff
