To provide high-level programmatic support to the Department of Veterans Affairs, the full-time salaried Program Manager, Specialty Care will manage the full lifecycle of program and project management activities, ensuring successful execution of specialty care initiatives within a complex federal healthcare environment. Key responsibilities Serve as the primary Task Order Manager, overseeing planning, execution, and closing of deliverables for the VHA Specialty Care Program Office Assist VA leadership by developing detailed project plans, integrated master schedules, and performance dashboards aligned with VHA strategic priorities Facilitate coordination across interdisciplinary teams and federal stakeholders to ensure program milestones are met in compliance with federal policies Required qualifications Minimum of 10 years of experience in healthcare program and project management within an integrated health care system Master's Degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Business Administration, Program Management, or a closely related field Minimum of 6 years of experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder programs in a federal healthcare contracting environment Active Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI) or equivalent certification Ability to obtain and maintain a VA Position of Public Trust and comply with VA IT security and privacy requirements
