Our Guest Services Representative roles are an integral piece in our care team and we see it as a partnership. This position will average 20-24 hours per week and will work both the switchboard and concierge desk. Availability needed working concierge 1p - 8 : 30p with some weekends and switchboard 7p - 7a Fri / Sat nights. Job Summary : Acts as a liaison between guests, staff and patients to respond to patient and guest information inquiries.

Job Responsibilities and Requirements :

  • Receives, screens, routes and / or responds to all incoming inquiries for information, directions or concerns.
  • Receives guest suggestions and complaints and escalates through proper channels.
  • Provides patient information in compliance with The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) requirements and organizational privacy policies.
  • Identifies and report issues of safety and maintenance.
  • Assists in improving patient satisfaction. Anticipates family needs and resolves issues before they become major source of concern.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Education :

  • High School diploma / GED or 10 years of work experience

    • Experience :

  • No experience required

    • Physical Requirements :

  • Frequent lifting / carrying and pushing / pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs.
  • Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching and repetitive foot / leg and hand / arm movements.
  • Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more) and to identify and distinguish colors.
  • Frequent use of hearing and speech to share information through oral communication. Ability to hear alarms, malfunctioning machinery, etc.
  • Frequent keyboard use / data entry.
  • Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, twisting and gripping.
  • Occasional lifting / carrying and pushing / pulling objects weighing 25-50 lbs.
  • Rare climbing.
