Position Overview As Sales Manager, you will have full responsibility for leading and optimizing Renken Remodeling’s sales operations.
This role manages the sales team, drives performance through training and development, orchestrates sales processes, and collaborates across departments to ensure seamless customer experiences and revenue growth.
The ideal candidate brings strong leadership, hands-on coaching skills, and a passion for helping both customers and team members succeed in a fast-paced environment.
Core Responsibilities Recruit, train, mentor, and manage sales representatives, cultivating a high-performing team environment. Conduct regular sales training, individualized coaching sessions, and ride-alongs to ensure continuous development and high standards of execution. Lead effective and engaging weekly sales meetings that motivate and align the team with company goals.
Oversee accurate, organized back-end sales processes—including CRM management, paperwork, and performance tracking—to maximize profitability. Collaborate daily with Operations and Project Management to review business performance and uphold commitments to both customers and internal stakeholders. Partner with production teams to support job installation, proactive customer communication, cancellation prevention, conflict resolution, and effective funding tracking. Maintain accountability, foster professionalism, and drive a culture of sales excellence throughout the department.
Report on key sales metrics, presenting actionable insights for ongoing improvements.
Take on additional responsibilities as needed to support company growth.
Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
Qualifications Proven experience in sales management or home improvement sales preferred; history of leading teams to meet ambitious goals. Strong ability to recruit, coach, and motivate sales staff.
Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in CRM software and sales reporting tools; Salesforce experience preferred. High attention to detail and organizational capability, with a process-focused mindset.
Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and solve problems in a fast-paced environment.
