A company is looking for an Underwriting Technician, National Accounts Casualty.
Key Responsibilities
Process new and renewal insurance applications accurately and timely
Assist underwriters by communicating with agencies and handling routine underwriting requirements
Perform data entry, issue policies, and process cancellations or reissues as requested by underwriters
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience; some college preferred
Typically a minimum of three years of related work experience in an office environment
Knowledge of policy processing procedures and applicable insurance products
Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and other business-related software
Ability to work independently on multiple tasks
