Stretch Zone of El Paso is seeking professionals from the health and wellness industry, with a passion for helping clients to achieve their wellness goals at our Eastside and Westside locations. Previous experience as a Massage Therapist, Personal Trainer, Physical Therapist, Nurse, Pilates or Yoga Instructor is preferred. As a pioneer in practitioner assisted stretching, Stretch Zone is seeking out individuals looking for growth within a fast-growing company. If selected, all trainees must pass a week of training at our corporate offices in Fort Lauderdale, where you will learn and test out on Stretch Zone modalities to help people reduce pain, prevent injury, and improve their overall mobility and performance.

Stretch Zone of El Paso is currently seeking the following background/certifications:

• Licensed Massage Therapist
• Certified Athletic Trainer, Personal Trainer or Sports Coach
• Licensed Physical Therapist (or PT aid)
• Certified Pilates or Yoga Instructor
• RN
• Kinesiology Graduates encouraged to apply.
• A minimum of 1 years of experience working in a fitness/health environment (hands-on a plus)

Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities:

• Contribute to a clean, professional, and positive stretch boutique environment.
• Outgoing personality and exceptional communication skills.
• No problems wearing socks and athletic attire for 90% of work schedule.
• Passion for helping people achieve their fitness goals.
• Encourage and motivate clients throughout stretch sessions
• Must be reliable, punctual, trustworthy, and professional.
• Clean and maintain equipment on daily basis.
• Attend and participate in all staff meetings/trainings.
• Offer a true first-class stretching experience, while ensuring the safety of our clients in regard to proper stretch techniques and Stretch Zone safety policies.
• Consistently update clients notes and assist in booking reoccurring stretch sessions for each client.
• Retain current clients through exceptional client care and communication with Front Desk/General Manager

Compensation: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour

Most stretching methodologies try to wait out, overpower, trick, or ignore the stretch reflex. The proven way to increase performance and mobility is to work with the stretch reflex with the revolutionary techniques available through the Stretch Zone Methodology (SZM). The SZM Practitioner identifies any postural and movement limitations, then tries to correct or mitigate them through specific applied stretching sessions. With a balanced system the customer will reach their true maximum potential, whether they are an professional athlete, weekend warrior, couch potato, or suffering from chronic pain or illness.

A career with Stretch Zone means not just meeting and maintaining a level of excellence, but continually improving in skill, to further one's expertise and to advance the industry. As a minimum prerequisite to SZM we recommend a personal training certification in ACE, NASM, ACSM, NSCA or NCSF and/or a license in therapeutic massage or other accredited body work.
