Logistics Support Specialist (6 Week Contract)

The Logistics Support Specialist role is akin to that of a Material Handler. This position involves the intake, documentation, and processing of inventory. Candidates must possess some experience in inventory counting and will likely need to log data on a computer.

Responsibilities

• Intake and process materials efficiently.
• Accurately document inventory and maintain inventory counts.
• Utilize hand and power tools for material handling.
• Operate pallet jacks and other equipment as necessary.
• Conduct general production and mechanical tasks.
• Ensure quality assurance in all processes.
• Troubleshoot and perform installation and maintenance tasks.

Work Environment

The role is based inside an Amazon facility, a large warehouse with numerous moving parts. Collaboration with PAC Advisors and Aerotek Services is integral. The dress code includes steel-toed boots, jeans, and a work shirt. The standard work schedule is Monday through Friday, with occasional work on Saturdays, entailing 8-10 hours per day.

This is a Contract position based out of North Andover, Massachusetts.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
