Position Type: Full-Time (40 Hours per week)

Essential Functions

• Evaluate, correct, and educate residents regarding exercise technique and appropriate use of equipment.
• Maintain equipment to ensure a safe and functional environment.
• Maintain a clean and inviting work environment according to health department codes and facility standards.
• Perform fitness evaluations and assessments.
• Prescribe flexibility, cardiovascular, and strength training exercises.
• Supervise members and attend to their needs in a friendly, polite, courteous, and professional manner.
• Teach group exercise classes such as strength, TRX suspension, aqua fitness, circuit, Zumba, etc.
• Provide fitness floor and Power Plate personal training sessions.
• Assist with coordination, promotion, and implementation of Wellness programs.
• Schedule appointments and classes and perform other administrative duties as assigned.
• Maintain resident information and health club statistics.
• Build relationships with residents and staff, encouraging them to be more physically active.
• Assist where needed in the training of new Wellness Department employees.
