Proposal Manager

Roles & ResponsibilitiesDevelop proposal schedule, outline, writing assignments and page limitPrepare RFI, SS initial response draftsEnsure on time proposal material submission from internal and external writersCoordinate proposal meetingsAttend pre-proposal conference periodically for large opportunities when necessaryAssemble final proposal when needed periodicallyManage proposal folder and SharePoint siteCoordinate with proposal writer, recruiter, proposal coordinator, desk top publisher, editor and graphics designer to get all tasks done timelyPerform reviews and quality assurance checks / edits when necessaryJOB REQUIREMENTS Minimum Qualifications : U.

S. Citizen or Green Card holder and have the ability to pass background check8 years+ experience in proposal management in government contracting environmentCapabilities using MS Office and document management toolsExcellent attention to detailsExcellent time management and organization skillsBachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a relevant majorPreferred QualificationsExperience with developing and managing multiple proposals for IT services in support of Civil Federal Market customersExperience with opportunities between $30M and $100M in valueExperience managing at least 4 proposals concurrentlyTrack record in submitting winning proposalExperience working with PMs, Directors, and SMEs from diversified technical, functional, business and cultural backgroundsMust be proactive and able to function independentlyShipley training is strongly preferredStrong organizational, verbal, written and inter-personal communication skillsAble to multi-task;

be a team player who can interact with both executives and peersAbility to work under deadline pressureAble and willing to work evenings and weekends when neededExperience working in government contracting Futrend Technology, Inc.
