Rosewood Miramar Beach is looking for a Seasonal Full-Time, Part-Time, and Full-Time Server Assistant to join our The Revere Room Team !
Overview
The Server Assistant will be responsible for providing refined, luxurious service and guest satisfaction according to the standards of the property.
Retrieve and serve alcoholic / non-alcoholic beverages and food orders to guest tables according to hotel specifications, courteously, and efficiently.
Collect payments; assist in the maintenance of the restaurant area and equipment; maintain luxury service standards at all times.
Essential Responsibilities
- Utilizes proper food handling and food service techniques.
- Exhibit a friendly, helpful, and courteous manner when dealing with guests and fellow employees.
- Assist the Server in taking food and beverage orders in a friendly and timely manner and ensures accurate entry and delivery of the order.
- Meets the Company service standards at all times.
- Maintains knowledge of all specials and general description of all food items and explains to guests.
- Totals guest bills, presents them to guests in a timely, manner and obtains full payment along with appropriate paperwork, such as signed credit card slips.
- Ensures tables are well maintained at all times.
- Practices all safety and loss prevention procedures.
- Sets-up and cleans the dining areas while maintaining or exceeding hospitality and service standards.
- Exceeds standards of appearance, cleanliness, personal sanitation, and hygiene.
- Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements Qualifications
- Previous experience working as a food runner, server assistant, or host in a fine dining restaurant or in a luxury environment highly preferred.
- Excellent written, verbal, and group presentation communication skills.
- Ability to effectively interact with individuals or small groups of people.
- Basic knowledge of wine and liquor including wine service techniques.
- Must have a flexible schedule that requires days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Education
High school diploma.
Licenses and Certificates
Must be a minimum of 18 years of age to serve alcohol. TIPS certification preferred and Food Handling Certification required.
