Job description
$979.20/week –
Job Summary:
Provides personal nursing care to patients under the supervision of a licensed registered nurse (RN). Assists with activities of daily living and routine patient care to support patient comfort and well-being.
Responsibilities:
- Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, feeding, and hydration.
- Perform vital signs measurement such as pulse and blood pressure.
- Help with patient positioning, personal care, and use of restraints or assistive devices.
- Report patient status, responses, and concerns to the RN accurately and promptly.
- Perform clerical duties including routing patient reports and documentation.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment to ensure efficient unit operations.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED required; equivalent experience preferred.
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor required.
- At least two years recent healthcare experience preferred.
- Proficiency in EPIC or similar electronic health record systems required.
- Valid nursing license as per the state of assignment preferred.
