Locations available: Baraboo, Madison, and Monona, WI What's the role?The Facilities Maintenance Technician supports day-to-day upkeep and repair for our REMS and Secure Storage properties. We have full-time and part-time roles available at the location(s) listed above. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work and supporting a variety of property needs. Duties include:Performing general building maintenance, repairs and improvements such as painting, structural and minor roof repairApartment turn-over, HVAC, minor electrical, plumbing, appliance installation/removal, and emergency maintenanceProviding grounds maintenance, including but not limited to: landscaping, exterior building maintenance, and snow removal Maintaining streets and common areas of the propertySafely operate a truck to transport materials Communicating effectively and professionally with all residents and coworkers while working in a team environmentWhat experience and skills do I need to be successful?A diverse and well-rounded skill set with the ability to support multiple maintenance functions Experience providing maintenance services for rental properties, storage facilities, or similar is highly desired Strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills Ability to work both independently and with team members Valid driver's license and ability to travel between properties as needed Great Perks and Benefits:Some major perks we offer are long-term job stability, work-life balance to support raising a family, and significant opportunity to grow your career within the company. Overall flexibility in scheduling is based on meeting property and operational needs.
