Bowhead seeks an Industrial Operations Manager to join our team in providing program management support for Industrial Engineering, Modeling and Simulation in support of Shipyard Infrastructure Optimizations. The Industrial Operations Manager will evaluate current manufacturing practices, manage production schedules, process work flows, enforce quality control, and improve production processes across the 4 public shipyards (PHNS, PSNS, PNSY, and NNSY) on behalf of PMO 555.
The Industrial Operations Manager will also be actively involved in the management of Modeling and Simulation (MODSIM) efforts across the shipyards to track layouts, floor plans, and equipment staging to ensure lean, streamlined access and up-to-date logs (utilizing RFID or other tracking tools). Assist in modeling and streamlining to apply process improvements to shipyard maintenance and manpower requirements through industrial engineering process improvement proficiencies and modeling.

Target salary is $160,000/year to $185,000/year, commensurate with experience.

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must currently hold a security clearance at the Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.
