What You'll Do: The Safety Manager owns and ensures execution of World Electric's safety programs across distribution and branch operations. This role partners with leaders and associates to strengthen the safety culture, identify and remediate hazards, analyze trends, conduct hazard assessments, and communicate key safety priorities. The Safety Manager also oversees regulatory readiness, required recordkeeping, incident management, and safety training while supporting current and future facilities.

Education and/or Experience: Bachelor's degree in occupational safety, environmental health and safety, risk management, or a related field preferred; equivalent education and relevant work experience may be considered. 8+ years of safety and/or training experience, preferably in a heavy equipment, material handling, warehouse, or multi-site environment. Experience supporting multiple locations and partnering with operational leadership.
Requirements
- Extensive knowledge of current safety practices and applicable OSHA, DOT, and other governmental safety standards.
- Strong written, verbal, facilitation, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, assess risk, and translate findings into practical corrective actions.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple responsibilities, and maintain accurate, confidential records.
- Knowledge of warehouse equipment, powered industrial trucks, material handling operations, and vehicle safety practices.
- Ability to build effective working relationships across departments while maintaining safety and compliance expectations.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and safety recordkeeping/reporting systems.
- Ability to travel to branch and distribution locations as business needs require.
