Overview

VOICE WRITERS : Now accepting applications for voice writers. FULL-TIME, PART-TIME, AND EXTRA HELP positions available.

New Hires will receive a $7,500 SIGNING BONUS. The sign-on bonus is offered to all new bargaining unit employees and is paid out as follows : $4,000 upon beginning work, $2,000 at the first anniversary of employment, and $1,500 at the second anniversary of employment.

Salary

Salary steps are presented as a range from lowest to highest and are allocated into four steps. Progression to the next step occurs after completing one year of service in the current step.

Benefits

• CalPERS Retirement Plan : benefit formula determined per California Public Employees Retirement System regulations.
• Health Benefits : plans through Kaiser, HealthNet, and Valley Health Plan. The Court fully pays for medical coverage for employee and dependents when selecting Kaiser; the Court also fully covers the premium for dental and vision insurance.
• Holidays and Leave : 14 paid holidays, 16 vacation days in the first year, 4 personal leave days, a birthday holiday, and 100 hours of sick leave per year.
• Longevity Pay : $50 per pay period after 2,611 days of continuous service.
• Deferred compensation plans available.
• Realtime / CART Court Reporting Certification Differential : 10% for state or national realtime certification (CRR, CRP, CCRR, CRG, FCRR); 5% for completing Court-administered realtime certification test.
• Benefits prorated for part-time and limited benefits for Extra Help.

Reimbursements up to $2,000 for limited equipment may be available. A California Driver’s license may be required; travel between facilities may be needed.
